Sorry, but I’m a SW Engineer by profession and I am claiming that due to the fact that there have been multiple people reporting the same exact issue ONLY for the Calc app on this forum, it really is an installation BUG. A user should not be forced to go to the pain of uninstalling, cleaning the registry and re-installing OOo in order to MAYBE fix the problem. In my case. I didn’t even have a previous version installed. I simply installed OOo 3.3 on a new laptop with Win7. No upgrade from earlier version.
I respectfully request that somebody in the OOo development community identify the root cause, fix it and get it included in an update.
I already have a full time job along with a consulting job, so no, I won’t have time to join the OOo development community and fix the bug myself.
Best Regards,
