Lets say that Goering actually bothers to consult with Raeder on how best to bring Britain down and together they proposes an alternative to the obviously unworkable Sea Lion Plan to Hitler and convince him its the best way to knock out Britain with minimal loss of German lives.
The plan works on the fact that Britain as an Island must import most of its food, raw materials, etc, for its factories by ship and this is Britain’s Achilles Heel, shipping.
The strategy:
Ascertain the most important ports and subject them to nightly bombing by He-111s.
Stukas with Bf-109 escort shall prowl the channel to deny shipping.
Submarines with Ju-88s, and FW-200s will roam the sea lanes and attack all merchant shipping heading to Britain, with priority going to fuel tankers. Kriegsmarine vessels shall assist in any way possible.
